Jakarta, INTI - On August 14, 2024, during a business forum at the Inti Robot event, part of Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI 2024), Denny Wijayanto, Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Industrial Robot Association (ASRII), issued a stern warning about the significant risks Indonesia faces if it does not quickly foster collaboration across sectors in smart manufacturing. Speaking at the forum held at JI EXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, Denny emphasized that without strong synergy between the government, the private sector, and academia, Indonesia risks falling far behind other countries in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

According to Denny, robotics and automation are the keys to the future of manufacturing, and Indonesia must move swiftly to build an ecosystem that supports the development of these technologies. "We don't have time to relax. If we don't collaborate soon, we will miss out on a massive opportunity in the increasingly competitive global industry," he stressed.

He also highlighted the critical role of associations like ASRII in connecting various stakeholders, thus creating an ecosystem that can accelerate the adoption of new technologies in the manufacturing sector. "ASRII must be at the forefront of facilitating this cooperation, or we will be trapped in technological lag," he added.
