Jakarta, INTI - Telkom Indonesia and cybersecurity firm F5 have announced a strategic partnership aimed at bolstering their security capabilities and services. The collaboration, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on Thursday, May 2, signifies a concerted effort to offer comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to the Indonesian market.
Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to enhance Telkom's expertise in cybersecurity and other digital products. Leveraging F5's proficiency in application and API security, as well as multi-cloud management, the partnership seeks to enrich Telkom Group's IT services portfolio.
Budi Setyawan Wijaya, Director of Strategic Portfolio at Telkom Indonesia, underscored that the Telkom-F5 alliance aims to bolster Telkom Group's cybersecurity capabilities, aligning with Telkom's strategic program, particularly in B2B digital IT services.
FM Venusiana R, Director of Enterprise and Business Service at Telkom Indonesia, emphasized the growing importance of cybersecurity in Indonesia amid digital transformation and the impending enactment of the Personal Data Protection Law.
This collaboration underscores Telkom Group's commitment to delivering dependable cybersecurity services. Adam Judd, Senior Vice President APCJ at F5, articulated F5's commitment to providing innovative solutions to secure applications and APIs through its collaboration with Telkom. He noted that the partnership not only addresses existing cybersecurity challenges but also presents opportunities for new business models.
Surung Sinamo, Country Manager for Indonesia at F5, expressed enthusiasm about the strategic alliance with Telkom. By bundling products and leveraging Telkom's infrastructure strengths, they aim to enhance cybersecurity services for Indonesia's B2B technology market.
