Once installed in the control cabinet, this device links via an intranet cable to the machine’s PLC to retrieve essential operational data.

For customers opting for the power monitoring add-on, an additional sensor is provided, allowing the edge device to record power consumption data directly—vital information that is typically not available from PLCs alone. Data is preprocessed at the edge device level for consistency before being encrypted for secure transmission to the cloud, where it is organized and visualized on a browser-based dashboard accessible from anywhere.
