Jakarta, INTI – The Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) 2024 event, scheduled for August 12-14, 2024, at JI-EXPO, is anticipated to play a crucial role in advancing the technology and innovation ecosystem in Indonesia. As the largest technology and innovation exhibition in the country, INTI 2024 will serve as more than just a showcase but as a platform for fostering significant collaboration and investment in the technology sector.
With a focus on information technology, artificial intelligence, and robotics, INTI 2024 will be a key platform for industry players to introduce their latest innovations. "We believe INTI 2024 will play a vital role in accelerating the adoption of new technologies and fostering innovation across all economic sectors," said Handoko, Executive Director of INTI.
The exhibition will feature at least 16 sub-events, including the Indonesia Internet Expo and Summit (IIXS), the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Summit (AIIS), the launch of the Indonesian Industrial Robotics Association (ASRII), and the APTIKNAS Tech Summit. Each sub-event is designed to foster in-depth discussions and cross-sector collaboration that can spur the growth of a stronger, more integrated technology ecosystem.
INTI 2024 will host more than 3,000 guests from countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, and several European, American, and Australian nations. The presence of international guests will enrich discussions and open opportunities for international collaborations that can strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global technology landscape.
According to recent data, Indonesia's technology sector continues to show rapid growth. In 2023, investments in the technology sector increased by 15% compared to the previous year, and this growth is expected to continue with events like INTI 2024. This indicates that Indonesia has significant potential to become a major player in the global technology industry.
Handoko added that INTI 2024 is expected to act as a catalyst for increasing the competitiveness of Indonesia's technology industry on the international stage. "We want to ensure that through this exhibition, we can build an ecosystem that supports sustainable innovation and technology-driven economic growth," he said.
