Dubai, UAE, — In a significant event, the Director-General of ILMATE, Taufiek Bawazier, engaged in discussions with the Special Advisor of DHA, H.E. Dr. Younis Mohammed Kazim, exploring the potential collaboration between Indonesia's health equipment and Dubai's health authorities. Kazim, addressing the Health Equipment Business Forum, expressed confidence in Indonesia's health industry, envisioning rapid growth, particularly considering the country's 270 million population.
"Dubai shares similarities with Indonesia in health sector development, and I believe Indonesia can successfully manage healthcare services for its citizens," stated Kazim before Indonesian health sector stakeholders.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates government, in partnership with the Republic of Indonesia, is set to construct the Emirates-Indonesia Cardiology Hospital in Solo Technopark. This project underscores the mutual commitment of both nations to support each other in creating robust healthcare services. The hospital aims to facilitate residents of Central Java and Yogyakarta in accessing healthcare facilities, particularly in cardiovascular health.
The hospital, equipped with 100 beds, is dedicated to cardiovascular specialization and is expected to commence operations in October 2024. The collaborative efforts extend to Indonesia's health equipment industry, inviting participation in providing essential infrastructure, including hospital beds, operating tables, and cutting-edge medical equipment, in the facility's construction.
