Jakarta, INTI - Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) 2024 has officially opened at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. This event is the largest annual B2B Expo and Conference in Indonesia, taking place from August 12 to 14, 2024. The event was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatics, Nezar Patria, on the main stage of INTI 2024.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatics, Nezar Patria, expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) for inspiring and facilitating this important forum. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders in the digital ecosystem to ensure the success of the national digital transformation. "Collaboration is key to facing challenges and seizing opportunities in digital transformation. We must unite to create an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem," said Nezar Patria.
The Chairman of APJII, in his remarks, stated that APJII, as an organization that represents over 1,100 internet-based telecommunications companies, plays a strategic role in supporting digital transformation across all sectors. "We are committed to continuously driving innovation, enhancing digital capabilities, and strengthening collaboration with various parties. However, this commitment requires full support from regulations that allow innovation and technology adaptation without being burdened by outdated or irrelevant regulations," emphasized the Chairman of APJII.
At the second stage (Tech Stage), the event began with the soft launching of the Indonesian Industrial Robot Association (ASRII), followed by a conference discussing the topic "Development Smart Machine & Robotics Ecosystems to Accelerate Industry Revolution 4.0". This conference featured prominent speakers, including Yan Sibarang Tandiele, Director of the Machinery and Agricultural Equipment Industry; Malik Khidir, Chairman of the Indonesian Industrial Robot Association (ASRII); and Prof. Dr. Ir. Jazi Eko Istiyanto, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng, Head of the Embedded Systems and Robotics Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Also present was Sugiarto Santoso, Director of GMI (PT. Global Mega Indonesia), who shared insights on the latest technological innovations.
The second session at the Tech Stage featured a business forum with the topic "Development of the National Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem," with Yuliot Tanjung, Deputy Minister of Investment and BKPM, delivering the keynote speech. In his address, Yuliot Tanjung stressed the importance of developing the national semiconductor industry ecosystem to support Indonesia's digital economic growth.
Based on registration data received by the organizers, the number of visitors on the first day reached 6,492 people. The large number of visitors was evident from the crowds at several booths and pavilions, such as the APTIKNAS Pavilion and the KORIKA Pavilion, which hosted engaging talk shows.
The APTIKNAS Pavilion, showcasing the latest technological innovations from association member companies, was one of the main attractions for visitors. Visitors could directly see the products and technology solutions offered and engage in discussions with experts in the field.
Meanwhile, the KORIKA Pavilion attracted attention with talk shows covering interesting topics such as AI technology developments, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity solutions. These discussions featured speakers from various industry backgrounds who shared their knowledge and experiences with the audience.
INTI 2024 not only showcases the latest technology and innovations but also serves as a platform for fostering cooperation and collaboration among various stakeholders in the digital ecosystem.
