INTI,- Indonesia is gearing up for the upcoming Hannover Messe 2023, the world's largest industrial technology trade fair, with four main agendas in mind. The country aims to showcase its vision for Making Indonesia 4.0, promote industrial collaboration, boost investment and export opportunities, and enhance bilateral relationships with Germany to integrate into the global supply chain network.

With the theme "Industrial Transformation", Hannover Messe 2023 will provide an excellent opportunity for Indonesia to display its progress in digital transformation, including the automotive industry sector. The event will also highlight Indonesia's position as one of the world's emerging economic powers and a global manufacturing player.

"We have seen that the implementation of Industry 4.0 in the manufacturing sector can increase productivity and efficiency, leading to a more competitive industry and ultimately accelerating national economic growth," said Taufiek Bawazier, Director-General of the Ministry of Industry's Directorate General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics (ILMATE), during his visit to the automotive component industry booth at Hannover Messe 2023.

Indonesia's national automotive component company, PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia, will be participating as a co-exhibitor at Hannover Messe 2023. The company will showcase its latest technology that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve the quality inspection process for manufacturing four-wheeled vehicle brake pads.

"Our AI machine is used for the final inspection of brake pads, where it can check product quality more quickly and efficiently, minimizing human error and increasing accuracy," explained Yusak Kristian Solaeman, Director of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk. The AI machine can also predict cracks that may occur in the product, allowing the inspection team to take preventive action before the product is marketed.

In addition, PT Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia will display its Manufacturing Dashboard, which helps the manufacturing team monitor production processes in real-time and provides information on production performance, including the number of products produced, production time, and production costs. "This makes it easier for companies to make the right business decisions and identify areas that need improvement," added Yusak.

Indonesia's participation in Hannover Messe 2023 is expected to strengthen the country's industrial collaboration and showcase its progress in digital transformation. The event is also a great opportunity for Indonesia to attract more foreign investment and expand its export markets while strengthening bilateral relationships with Germany.***Hans
