INTI,- Indonesia is targeting potential collaborations during its participation at Hannover Messe (HM) 2023. One of the collaborations aimed at is support for the process of industrial 4.0 technology transformation in the manufacturing sector and to support the needs of Indonesia's Digital Industry Center 4.0 (PIDI 4.0).

"The cooperation that can be followed up includes the development of human resources related to industry 4.0 through programs to improve capacity and competency," said the Head of the Industrial Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the Ministry of Industry, Masrokhan, in Hannover, Germany, on Wednesday (19/4).

In addition, cooperation in providing mock-ups or showcasing multimedia machine lines and equipment to be placed in the exhibition center area in PIDI 4.0 is also targeted. "The total value of this collaboration is €700,000, including technology transfer programs up to increased utilization," said Masrokhan.

Potential cooperation also targets the development of education, training curricula, and training programs, including visits and exchanges of teaching materials, experts, learning modules, curricula, technology, and/or technical personnel.

"The agreement from Hannover Messe and joint activity programs that are in line with the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap can support the acceleration of 4.0 technology transformation and the preparation of its human resources through PIDI 4.0," explained Masrokhan.

Previously, the Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, mentioned that there were 27 cooperation agreements signed by Indonesian parties at Hannover Messe 2023. "75% of the signatory participants come from co-exhibitors at Hannover Messe 2023, and the rest are from outside co-exhibitors. This shows that the enthusiasm of co-exhibitors to establish cooperation with partners is quite high," he said.

On that occasion, the Minister of Industry appreciated all parties who have expressed their commitment to increase investment in Indonesia. This effort is believed to accelerate the competitiveness of industries and national economic growth.

"Hannover Messe 2023 can be used to introduce the strength of national industrial technology and encourage Indonesia's connection with the global supply chain network," he added. Therefore, Indonesia is not only viewed as a country with potential world market power but also has significant meaning and role in contributing to the development of industrial technology and its supporters.

Indonesia targets four main agendas in its participation in Hannover Messe this year. First, to introduce Indonesia's vision on the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap. Second, to promote industrial collaboration. Third, to promote investment and exports. Finally, to improve bilateral cooperation with Germany and enter the global supply chain network.

The Indonesian delegation will also showcase a number of products, including a comprehensive manufacturing system, drones for security and defense, and electric motorcycles. Indonesia is optimistic that this event will bring significant opportunities to strengthen the manufacturing ecosystem and promote the country's industrial development.

In conclusion, Indonesia's participation in Hannover Messe 2023 is expected to provide significant opportunities for the country to strengthen its manufacturing ecosystem and promote its industrial development. With the potential collaborations and agreements expected to be made, Indonesia is poised to make strides towards becoming a more technologically advanced nation and increase its role in the global supply chain network.***Hans
