INTI,- The Hannover Messe 2023, the largest industrial fair in the world, has come to a close on April 21, 2023. The exhibition, which started on April 17, was opened by the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo and the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz. Indonesia was the official partner country for the event, and the Director-General of International Industrial Access, Allocation, and Resilience of the Ministry of Industry Eko S.A. Cahyanto expressed his delight at being part of this significant industrial exhibition, which has a positive impact on investment in Indonesia.

Eko was present at the event along with the Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG) Dr. Jochen Köckler and the President of the German Electrical and Digital Industries Association (ZVEI) Dr. Gunther Kegel. During the fair, visitors expressed positive feedback about the Indonesian program as the Partner Country of Hannover Messe 2023. The programs included art performances during the opening ceremony, opening of the Indonesia Pavilion, country night, business summit, and several conferences. Indonesia's success as the partner country was also reflected in the high number of visitors to the Indonesian Pavilion and 157 co-exhibitors from Indonesia.

Despite some demonstrations in some areas of Germany during the event, the President of ZVEI stated that Hannover Messe 2023 went on smoothly, with hundreds of thousands of visitors. Besides the business community, the event also managed to attract a significant number of political delegations from 50 countries, making it the leading exhibition compared to other industrial fairs.

The five-day event brought optimism to 40,000 exhibitors to integrate sustainable industries. The CEO of DMAG, Dr. Jochen Köckler, believed that tens of thousands of visitors to Hannover Messe 2023 had the same vision of supporting a more competitive industry that is climate-neutral. About 43% of the visitors were from outside Germany, including China, Korea, the Netherlands, and the United States.

The successful event reflects the improving conditions of Indonesia's industrial sector after the Covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia's golden opportunity to become the official partner country for the third time has been fruitful. Until the fourth day of Hannover Messe 2023, there were one government-to-government cooperation agreement, four government-to-business cooperation agreements, and 25 business-to-business cooperation agreements, projected to create around 80,000 job opportunities.

Indonesia's participation in Hannover Messe 2023 as the official partner country indicates the country's strong commitment to boosting its industrial sector, promoting investment, and expanding its global market share. With the success of Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia is expected to continue developing and diversifying its industry, contributing to the country's economic growth and prosperity. The event provides a platform for Indonesia to showcase its potential in various sectors, including renewable energy, electric vehicles, and digital technology, among others.

In conclusion, the Hannover Messe 2023 has been a successful event, bringing together global business leaders, policymakers, and innovators to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities. As the official partner country, Indonesia has taken advantage of this platform to promote its industrial sector, establish business partnerships, and showcase its potential in various industries. The event has not only strengthened Indonesia's position in the global market but also contributed to the country's economic growth and prosperity.***.Hans
