INTI,- Indonesia is set to showcase its industrial technology prowess and strengthen its connectivity with the global supply chain at Hannover Messe 2023. The event is seen as a crucial platform for Indonesia to not only showcase its potential in the world market but also play a significant role in supporting the development of industrial technology and its supporting resources, including human resources in the era of Industry 4.0.

According to Masrokhan, the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Industry, "the potential for collaboration that can be achieved at this year's Hannover Messe is enormous in supporting the 4.0 technology transformation in the industrial sector, especially with the presence of the Indonesian Digital Industry Center 4.0 (PIDI 4.0)."

Masrokhan further explains that the collaboration can be followed up through the development of industrial human resources related to digital transformation through the implementation of capacity-building programs. Additionally, mock-ups or multimedia equipment showcases worth up to €700,000 can be provided for placement in the PIDI 4.0 exhibition center, including technology transfer programs.

The collaboration will also cover the utilization of mock-up lines of machinery and multimedia equipment, the development of education and training curricula, training programs, including visits and the exchange of teaching materials, technical personnel, learning modules, curricula, and technology.

As part of the Hannover Messe 2023 agenda, the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Petrokimia Gresik have reached an agreement to implement the Digital Learning System to support the development of industrial human resources in the Petrochemical sector.

Nuril Huda, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Petrokimia Gresik, stated that the Digital Learning System that has been built internally has improved the effectiveness of developing the competencies of employees and non-employees within the Petrokimia Gresik environment. "With this system, we hope to shorten administrative time and accelerate the mastery of learning materials at Petrokimia Gresik," he said.

Nuril emphasized that the collaboration with the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Industry, which has been ongoing, can be strengthened with the existence of a system that will provide broader opportunities for graduates and students of the Ministry of Industry's education unit, which is mostly based on chemistry, to utilize the system for learning and capacity building.

Furthermore, during his visit to Hannover Messe 2023, Masrokhan also met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to France, Andorra, and Monaco, Mohamad Oemar in Paris, regarding global collaboration in the development of industrial human resource development programs.

"We are ready to facilitate the collaboration in the development of global industrial human resources with the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Industry through activities that include vocational programs," emphasized Oemar. France is a strategic partner for Indonesia in international economic relations, with at least 160 French companies operating in Indonesia.

According to Masrokhan, this commitment represents the potential for collaboration in increasing French investment in Indonesia by providing industrial human resources for French companies in Indonesia or collaborating on capacity building programs for industrial human resources through student internships and teaching personnel in France.

Masrokhan also added that through the Ministry of Industry's vocational education and training unit specializing in the industrial sector, Indonesia is ready to collaborate globally in providing industrial human resources for French companies in the automotive, food and beverage, leather processing, and chemical industries.

"The Ministry of Industry's vocational education and training unit is prepared to produce competent and work-ready industrial human resources. And now it is capable of responding to the challenges related to Industry 4.0 skills," he concluded.

In addition, the Indonesian delegation also held a series of meetings with other key players in the global industrial technology sector, including representatives from Germany, China, Japan, and South Korea. These meetings focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing in the areas of industrial automation, digitalization, and smart manufacturing.

One of the key outcomes of these meetings was a potential partnership between Indonesian and German companies in the development of digital manufacturing solutions. This collaboration would involve the exchange of expertise and technology between German and Indonesian companies, with the aim of accelerating the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies in the Indonesian manufacturing sector.

Overall, the Indonesian delegation to Hannover Messe 2023 can be considered a great success, with a number of key partnerships and initiatives being announced or developed during the course of the event. By showcasing its strengths and capabilities in the field of industrial technology, Indonesia has demonstrated that it is not just a major player in the global marketplace, but also a key contributor to the development of cutting-edge industrial technologies and the skilled workforce needed to support them in the era of Industry 4.0.

As such, the Hannover Messe has become an important platform for Indonesia to showcase its industrial technology capabilities, and to promote greater connectivity with the global supply chain. With a range of new partnerships and initiatives in the works, it is clear that Indonesia is poised to play an increasingly important role in the global industrial technology landscape in the years to come.***.Hans
