Jakarta, INTI - At the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Summit (AIIS) 2024, held on August 13, 2024, during the Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) 2024 exhibition, experts, entrepreneurs, and innovators gathered to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) can drive a technological revolution in Indonesia. The event, held at JI-Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, marked a significant moment for Indonesia in laying the foundation for AI development in the future.

AIIS 2024 is part of INTI 2024, the largest B2B technology exhibition in Indonesia, attended by more than 700 exhibitors, with four conference stages and over 500 speakers. Amidst the rapid technological development, AI is the main focus as a solution to various challenges faced by industries, education, and government in Indonesia.

In his opening speech, Nezar Patria, Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia, emphasized the importance of AI adoption across all sectors. "Indonesia must be ready to face the wave of digital transformation led by artificial intelligence. AI is not just a tool but also a catalyst that will change the way we work, learn, and innovate," he asserted.

One of the highlights of AIIS 2024 was the discussion on AI ethics, emphasizing the need for regulations and policies that ensure the responsible use of AI. In addition, collaboration between the government, private sector, and academia is key to building an inclusive and sustainable AI ecosystem.

Exhibitors showcased various latest innovations in AI, from intelligent robotics and machine learning to AI applications in healthcare and education. One of the innovations that caught attention was the use of AI to predict and prevent natural disasters, a breakthrough highly relevant for Indonesia, which is prone to such events.

The INTI 2024 exhibition, held from August 12 to 14, 2024, provided a platform for technology companies to showcase their ability to leverage AI to improve efficiency and productivity. Through this exhibition, it is hoped that Indonesia can accelerate the adoption of AI technology in various sectors, from industry to government.

With AIIS 2024, Indonesia is increasingly demonstrating its commitment to becoming a major player in the global technology landscape. This initiative will not only support economic growth but also strengthen Indonesia's position as a technology innovation hub in Southeast Asia.
