INTI,- AREA31 Datacenter has officially obtained the Certificate Rated 3 Facilities ANSI/TIA-942-B and has become the first datacenter in ASEAN to achieve the ISO/IEC 22237 Availability Class 3 & Protection Class 3 certification, according to the announcement made by EPI, a globally recognized independent certification body.
Moses Huwae, the Indonesia Managing Director of EPI, explained that AREA31 has met the standards for building architecture, telecommunications, electrical and mechanical aspects required for obtaining the Certificate Rated 3 Facilities ANSI/TIA-942-B. Additionally, AREA31 was also recognized as the first datacenter in ASEAN to receive the ISO/IEC 22237 Availability Class 3 & Protection Class 3 certification.
Designing, optimizing, testing, operating, and maintaining a datacenter is crucial to ensuring that the datacenter can meet and exceed business expectations, as stated by EPI. Moses emphasized that the readiness of reliable infrastructure, technology, and facilities is a benchmark in obtaining certifications for a datacenter.
The criteria and requirements met by AREA31 validate their actual success in implementing the RATED 3 and ISO 22237 standards. Redundancy and security systems also play an essential role in meeting EPI standards to certify a datacenter.
Moses claimed that the awards given by EPI aim to educate target users to better understand the main components of a datacenter. "Life Cycle Sales will be shorter, and customers can see first-hand how to meet their expectations optimally," said Moses Huwae.
Therefore, the existence of the two certifications can have a positive impact on customers' data security placed in AREA31. As an Indonesian citizen, Moses Huwae expressed his pride in AREA31 for bringing Indonesia's good name as a datacenter with a Certificate Rated 3 Facilities ANSI/TIA-94 and the first in ASEAN to obtain the Certificate ISO/IEC 22237 Availability Class 3 & Protection Class 3.
One step closer to the RATED 3 Operational Certification, AREA31 has significant responsibility in terms of operations to maintain infrastructure stability, service systems, and avoid indications of downtime. This benchmark ensures the quality of services provided. ***. Hans
